Does First Date match me with anyone?

No. It is a private journal for people you already met or matched with elsewhere. There are no profiles, no feed, no discovery, and no messaging with anyone through the app.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's local container. The app has no account, no server, and no sync, and it makes no network requests of its own. See the privacy policy.

Is there a free version?

Yes. Free saves up to 5 matches. Safety check-ins, the fake call, screenshot import, conversation prompts, and voice-memo reflections are free with no limit.

What does First Date Pro add?

Unlimited saved matches, the Deeper filters control on the Patterns tab (split your history by app, venue, pacing, chemistry, and follow-up), and written narrative patterns once you have logged 10 matches. US pricing is $2.99/month or $19.99/year; Apple shows your local price before you buy.

How do I cancel Pro?

Open iOS Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, then First Date. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

I bought Pro on another device.

Open First Date → Settings → Restore purchases.

Does the safety check-in call for help?

No. It schedules local reminders and pre-fills a message to a contact you chose, which you send yourself. It does not contact emergency services and does not share live location. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number. Full detail on the safety page.

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. Everything except venue search and walking-time context works offline, including the safety guide, the fake call, conversation prompts, and reflections.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual entries in the app, or delete the app to remove its whole local container. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no server copy to erase.
