First Date does not match users, host profiles, show feeds, or message anyone. It is a private journal for people and dates you already know about.

Private by design

The app makes no network requests of its own. There is no account, no server, and no sync — every match, screenshot, reflection, and voice memo stays in the app's local container on your device. No ad SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers. Purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit.
